Been around a bunch of tractors, but honestly the L1-195 surprised me a bit with that quick-mount system for changing the tiller. Makes switching from tilling to moving stuff out way faster. The 4x4 with the double diff lock really comes in handy in the wet season. Fuel use is pretty tight, but I haven't seen it go much below 4L/hour when I'm plowing heavy. Getting parts is easy, which is a relief, but price-wise it's not the cheapest out there. I haven't had to do more than basic servicing between seasons. At first I was really satisfied with my Kubota GR 2120. The build quality made a good impression and I had hoped that with this rather expensive machine I had bought a reliable mower for many years.

Over time, however, it became clear that the cutting result is anything but convincing. Even with sharp blades, a clean cut cannot be achieved in a single pass. For a machine in this price range I would have expected significantly more.

In addition, the mower is not designed to be particularly maintenance-friendly. Many tasks are unnecessarily cumbersome and take time.

The biggest shock, however, came after just 2 years and only 150 operating hours. Although the mower was serviced regularly and I always had the service carried out punctually, the transmission suffered a total failure. My goodwill claim with Kubota was rejected without any concession.

I am, to be honest, incredibly disappointed and also angry about it. For a premium machine in this price range I would have expected a completely different quality of the components used and, above all, better customer service. That such an expensive lawn tractor should have a transmission failure after such a short time and that the manufacturer shows no goodwill is absolutely incomprehensible to me.

For me, unfortunately, this was the last machine from Kubota. In future I will be looking for a real professional machine where quality, durability and customer service actually justify the price.
